CANCELLATION POLICY

Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before your rental. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start of the booking you will receive a full refund. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the start of the booking you will receive a 50% refund. We do not issue refunds for cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the booking.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By engaging to rent Grayscale Studios (herein after referred to as the “Company”) photography studio you, the undersigned (herein referred to as the “Renter”), hereby state that you have read, fully understand and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Cancellations and Reschuduling:

We require payment up front to book the studio and remaining payment due before or on the day of the rental. Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before your rental. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start of the booking you will receive a full refund. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the start of the booking you will receive a 50% refund. We do not issue refunds for cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the booking. Bookings start at the time of the reservation. If you arrive late and need to extend your booking past the scheduled end time, that will count as overtime.

2. Length of Use:

Studio clean up must be completed by the end of the rental period. If the studio is not satisfactorily returned to the state it was prior to the rental period, a clean-up fee will be assessed if cleaning crew is required to be hired. *USE OF GLITTER IS PROHIBITED IN THE STUDIO. Overtime will be calculated in increments of 15 minutes beyond the contracted end-time of the rental period when renter is either still using or cleaning up the studio space. Overtime fees will be assessed at 1.5x the cost per hour over agreed rental time. Please do not arrive late - Renter’s rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time.

3. Terms of Use:

Use of our studio and our equipment is AT RENTER’S OWN RISK. Renter hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on our premises. Renter agrees to leave the studio and adjacent grounds in the same condition as they were when Renter arrived. Renters are solely responsible for any legal infractions Renter or members of Renter’s party make during the conduct of the shoot, be they in our studio or elsewhere. This includes parking tickets, all other violation or citations, and legal action resulting from the conduct of the shoot, taken at whatever time. Renter agrees to hold harmless Grayscale Studios, its owner, agents, representatives, and contractors acting on its behalf for any loss, accident, or injury to Renter’s self or anyone who accompanies Renter while on our premises. Renter agrees to be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying Renter while on our premises. Renters are solely responsible for the safety and well-being of any models Renter engages. Renter understands that if the Company observes dangerous, pornographic, or negligent practices or activities are being engaged in the Company reserves the right to stop the shoot and require Renter and Renter’s party to leave immediately — However, Company assumes no responsibility to act in such cases. Renter agrees to hold Grayscale Studios, its agents,representatives, and anyone acting on behalf of Company completely harmless from any action, legal or otherwise, that results from Renter’s conduct. Renters are solely responsible for verifying that all models employed during Renter’s rental period are of legal age for the activities they are to be engaged in. Company has no responsibility to determine or verify the age of participants in the renter’s activities but reserves the right to end those activities if it becomes aware that legal age violations are on-going. Renter agrees that someone a Company representative will be present in the studio at all times Renters are using it.

** NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL.

Penalty for failing to comply may include fee and/or renter may be banned from Grayscale Studios.

* CYCLORAMA WALL - Repaint cost: $75 - The cyclorama comes as is. We sweep and mop daily, but It may have scuff marks from previous rentals. We repaint the cyclorama 1-2 times a week as needed to maintain condition, but if you would like to have a freshly repainted cyclorama, we are happy to do so for $75.

**Paint takes 2-3 hours to dry, Repaints are only possible for full day rentals, or for the first rental of the day.

**There’s a $25 pet fee. The pet must be on the leash at all times or crated if you have one. The pet must not show signs of aggression. If the studio owners/managers feel unsafe, it is up to their discretion to tell the client that they must leave with their pet. The owner will not be refunded their money. The owner is solely responsible for any damages caused by the pet such as but not limited to; biting, ripping, breaking or scratching any of our items/props/ studio space. If the pet uses the bathroom (pee/poop/vomit) in the studio, there is an additional $25 clean up fee.

4. Equipment: Company agrees to provide equipment in good working order, but makes no special guarantees as to said equipment’s functionality or suitability to Renter’s purposes. Company is not liable for acts out of its control that affect the shoot, such as power outages, weather or emergencies. In such cases, Company will refund a prorated portion of Renter’s payment.

5. Miscellany: This Agreement incorporates the entire understanding and agreement between the Client and the Company. Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Any waiver of a breach or default here-under shall not be deemed a waiver of a subsequent breach or default of either the same provision or any other provision of this Agreement. The laws of the State of New Jersey shall govern this Agreement. The parties have read both this entire Agreement and agree to all its terms.

6. Equipment Rental and Use of Grayscale Studios Property: At Grayscale Studios we do everything we can to make sure our equipment and property is its best and cleanest condition functionally as well as cosmetically. Our team meticulously inspects every piece of equipment before and after use. If rented equipment or Grayscale property (including but not limited to furniture, props, plants, electronics ) gets damaged during a rental, please notify staff with with damage, and we will evaluate. Client is responsible for any costs accrued by Grayscale Studios to repair or replace damaged equipment or property. A deposit of $500.00 may be required until a final repair/replacement estimate is processed, where the balance will be due or refunded if lass than the deposit.
